On the last day of our visit, we want to thank you for everithig you've
done for us. This summer was the most eventfull one in our life. We saw a
lots of things, we collected a lots of experiences.
Althroug our english is not fluent now, a very good point of our stay in
amerika are the experiences, which opened our minds.
I'll bet, there aren't many people, who visited so many interesting places
and have met so many sofisticated people in such a short period of time.
We're glad that we did all these things. Trully, this was a lifetime-
experience for both of us. It will influence our life in the positive way.
The flyght to Savannah was extraordinary, it is always iteresting to fly in
a hurricane. Finally, we landed in Jacsonville, Florida! Everything went
well and after few hours we met your Parents.
We had a great time at Spring Island. We were fishing, we shot some clay
pigins, we were rideing a golf cart, we were siting in f18 cocpit (when we
visited the military base). It was very humid and hot there, so we played
tennis only for a short time. Some of the tennis balls landed in a nearby
water pond. (Not because of the temperature)
We also liked Toms DVD player, wich we used for the first time in our life.
We used a bread machine and baked 3 tasty breads, all by our selves!
Not only small children like the treehouse.
Tom asked many questions about Slovakia, and he was very interested in the
political, industrial and educational situation. He is a great man.
When we returned, we made the last one bicycle trip to Washington DC. We
did the FBI- and Suprime Cour tour and took some pictures in the museums.
We met lots of journalists and reporters in front of the US Capitol
building.
Today we had typical american dinner - Pizza hut. Everybody injoinded it
very well.
Tomorow we fly back. After church will Pam drive us to the airport and
children will stay for that while with a babysitter.
We can stay in touch via email and inform you how are we doing and what's
new in Slovakia (how were the elections, etc) And once our father will have
internet at work, there will be soon a Laco hompage!
